The first out of four World Champions was already defined at the second last stop of the season: Marion Haerty (FRA) wins the SNOWBOARD Women Freeride World Tour Title 2019 With four win’s and one third place she performed an unequally high-level snowboard season and has taken her World Champ title already at the penultimate stop in Andorra. Anna Orlova (RUS) takes rank 2 in the Overall Ranking and Manuela Mandl (AUT) comes in 3rd. The same order holds true for the results of this final event in Verbier.
Arianna Tricomi (ITA) could defend her World Champion title in the SKI Women Competition. Jacqueline Pollard (USA) takes the Vice World Champion title and Elisabeth Gerritzen (SUI) comes in 3rd in the Overall Ranking. She could suck up the great atmosphere in front of her homecrowd and took the win of the final stop today. Tricomi came in 2nd today and Hazel Birnbaum (USA) is on rank 3 at this final stop in Verbier.
The new World Champion of the Men SNOWBOARDERS is Victor de Le Rue (FRA) followed by Davey Baird (USA) asVice World Champion in front of his teammate 3rd-placed Blake Hamm (USA). On the very top of the Verbier competition ranking are again two US-Riders: Jonathan Penfield (USA) in front of Sammy Luebke (USA) on rank 2 and World ChampionVictor De Le Rue (FRA) who came in 3rd today.
The SKI MEN competition found the second Italian World Champion of the day: South Tyrolean Markus Eder (ITA) – despite his 6th rank today – wins his first World Champion title. Kristofer Turdell (SWE) came in 2nd and Leo Slemett (FRA) is 3rd. Today’s competition was dominated by French athletes however:Gorak Wadeck (FRA) took the victory, Slemett (FRA) came in 2nd and Kristofer Turdell (SWE) completed the podium on rank 3.
