Solid south swell, calm wind and big tides, this is what happened in the Lagundri Bay at Nias.
Some stories from Petra and Site from the days: “Some people said it was the best surf of their life, the conditions were really, really perfect, huge round open tunnels with sometimes up to an 8 second barrel time and no wind or calm offshore. Even Site (local ripper and owner of Jambuare Lodge Nias) said that it was probably one of the best surf of his life, so it’s fair to say this swell was a memorable one!
