Italy’s Torquato Testa is one of the emerging talents on the slopestyle scene having broke into the elite in 2015. A recent win at White Style in February and a 6th place at Crankworx Rotorua in 2016 shows that the Italian has been improving year-on-year.
Testa now has access to a proper dirt jumping and slopestyle training facility in his hometown of Monza, a facility that the 23-year-old helped build over the last year. He previously had to go to other parts of the world to train.

Testa is understandably proud of his achievement in getting Monza Pizza Bike Park to become a reality.
After getting a loan from the Municipality of Monza, Testa, along with fellow MTB slopestyler Diego Caverzasi and others, converted what was a former soccer field into the bike park.
Both he and Diego have been practising on it since the park was completed but it is by no means just for their use. This is a facility that will open to the public by the end of April. The hope is that new talents will emerge in time.
Ambitious Testa will go into Crankworx Rotorua with supreme confidence knowing that he’s been able to practice and work on new trick combinations on a regular basis at home in Monza. A podium place may just be within his grasp as a result.
