Lee-Ann Curren e Adrien Toyon, due pro surfisti di Biarritz, si sono recentemente chiesti l’essenza stessa di un viaggio e la scoperta di nuovi paesaggi. Avendo entrambi accumulato un numero enorme di voli, ore di jetlag e bagagli perduti, la loro riflessione li ha portati ad un altro sguardo a viaggiare con la mente nei posti vicino a casa.
Dopo aver trascorso giorni a studiare mappe regionali, chiacchierando con i vecchi nativi e camminando sui sentieri battuti delle «Les Landes», un nuovo percorso in una terra sconosciuta è stato disegnato per poterlo percorrere. Un viaggio per un giorno. Nebbia, fitte foreste, dune e correnti d’acqua … come molti elementi naturali che qualsiasi tipo di spot di surf in tutto il mondo potrebbe fornire spuntato al loro punto di riposo.

Lee-Ann Curren and Adrien Toyon, two pro surfers from Biarritz, lately asked themselves about the very essence of a journey and the discovery of new landscapes. Having both accumulated a huge number of flights, hours of jetlag and lost luggage’s, their reflection led them to take another look at travelling with the mind set of visiting places a little closer to home.
Having spent days studying regional maps, chatting with old natives and walking over furrowed paths « Les Landes » territory, a new route in an unknown land had been drawn to touch down on. A trip for a day. Fog, dense forests, dunes, and water currents … as many natural elements that any kind of surf spot around the world could provide popped up at their resting point.
